As mentioned in my previous post, we were lucky enough to visit Seth's relatives in Wisconsin over the 4th of July weekend. Seth's Grandma Evelyn will be 100 in October and still lives by herself in a house nearly as old as she is. She loves to sit on her screened in porch and watch her little doggie Emma get into mischief and identify the birds that visit her many feeders. She told us many stories about Steve (Seth's dad) and his brothers growing up on the farm, and showed me pictures of the one room school house in which she taught. We were both thrilled that she was able to meet Hamilton and that we will be able to share these pictures with him someday!
